Introducing, NetSherpa.
Welcome to the official blog of NetSherpa. First post, so let’s introduce the team and who’s doing what.
First I’ll introduce myself; my name is Mike Seman, and I’m the Lead Programmer/Developer for NetSherpa. I am currently a student at Drexel University, going to school for Software Engineering. I’m doing pretty much all the coding for our web apps at this point, and we’ve got a heck of a way to go before we can consider ourselves anywhere near done, but it’ll be worth it if we can see it through. My current priority is that of DeviceSherpa (under construction), a web-based wizard to help connect virtually any consumer electronic to another, including workarounds, couplers, and quality comparisons against other potential matches.
Secondly, Chris Shenkan; Shenkan’s responsible for financing the site and works with me to help develop and test stable, intuitive software. He’s currently a Psychology major at Temple.
Lastly, Eric ‘Ace’ Peterson; Ace’s brainchild is that of AutoSherpa, he has spent many hours combining his plethora of car knowledge with what he see’s as wrong with the available car searching/purchasing websites. AutoSherpa is to be designed with the intention of finding a vehicle based on driving style and habits, rather than just price and color; a trade-off that almost always leads to poor results.
